The Swift GTi is FWD ith a 1.3 twin cam engine which makes 101bhp which is ample for a 800KG car. THe redline piont is at 8000rpm which makes them like go karts. They have a revvy engine, no power steering or abs etc which does make them rather fun and great to drive!

1996 was the last year of production. The later models are the best to go for.

Potential Problems
The gearboxes do not tend to last more than 100k so low mileage is ideal.
The Electric Windows can end up sticking.
Check for rust/rot (the dreaded tinworm) around where the kit attaches.

All in all they do not tend to have many faults.
Admin so you'd all better behave or you'll be made to walk the plank and go down to Davey Jone's Locker me 'arties'
